Doppelgänger
From puppets to robots , from shadows to animation: a festival
EIN PUPPENHEIM / A DOLLS HOUSE (Hafenhalle09)
Vegard Vinge and Ida Müllers cycle of Ibsen plays presents a radical view of the Norwegian psyche through their vibrant and highly subjective productions of their national poet. Vinge and Müllers uncompromising and unique theatrical vocabulary mixes opera, splatterfilm, puppet-theatre, cartoon and performance. It is theatre
as ritual and exorcism.

Bibliothek der 100 Sprachen / Library of 100 languages
The Library of 100 Languages is scheduled for the period between October 2 and November 30 in the library container at Schillerplatz square. Especially citizens of Linz with a migratory background, that is, roughly one fourth of this city's population, are invited to provide books on loan in their respective mother-tongue.
This "language treasure trove" is meant to reflect reading habits, offer insights into mostly strange worlds, and above all become a strong signal for a multicultural Capital of Culture. Loan one book in your mother-tongue and make the Library of 100 Languages a strong signal for a multicultural Capital of Culture!
